Director Tony Scott dead At 68

Director Tony Scott, died in an apparent suicide Sunday when he jumped from the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, California. He will be missed. I can not think of one of his movies that I didn’t like. One of my favorites was Man On Fire.

Update Via People.com

“As the investigation continues into Sunday’s apparent suicide of Top Gun director Tony Scott, an unnamed source has told ABC News that the British-born filmmaker, 68, had been diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer. No further medical details were available.”

Update 2.0:

“It was then rumored that he was suffering from inoperable brain cancer, but that now appears to not be the issue, states RadarOnline. ABC has reportedly apologized for the report as his family has allegedly commented that he had no such health issues. The family also reportedly told officials that he had no other serious medical issues. An autopsy has been conducted but the results are not yet available.”
