Gracious Lord, We come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that every good gift comes from Your hand. Thank You for the beauty and abundance of this land, for our freedoms, for the blessings of family and friendship, and for the generations whose labor, courage, and sacrifice helped shape our nation.

Thank You for those who serve our communities, protect our country, care for each other, teach our children, and neighbors helping neighbors.

We thank You for the blessings You have entrusted to us: the beauty of Your creation, freedom to worship and the independence to build a business. Teach us to remember Your benefits and enter Your presence with thanksgiving.

We come before You with hearts overflowing with appreciation and gratitude. We praise You for Your unyielding faithfulness, protection, and provision over our land. With profound gratitude, we thank You, Lord, for the bountiful blessings You have bestowed upon America. May the praise of our nation continually honor Your holy name. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!  Psalm 95:2 ESV

“I have just repeated word for word the oath taken by George Washington 200 years ago, and the Bible on which I place my hand is the Bible on which he placed his. My first act as President is a prayer. Heavenly Father, we bow our heads and thank You for Your love.  Accept our thanks for the peace that yields this day and the shared faith that makes its continuance likely. Make us strong to do Your work, willing to heed and hear Your will, and write on our hearts these words: ‘Use power to help people.’ For we are given power not to advance our own purposes, nor to make a great show in the world, nor a name. There is but one just use of power, and it is to serve people. Help us to remember it, Lord.  Amen.” — President George H. W. Bush Inaugural Address January 20, 1989
