Great Physician, We come before You in prayer for America and all her people who are suffering in body, mind, or spirit. Look with mercy upon the sick, the injured, the elderly, and those facing diagnoses that bring fear and uncertainty. Grant comfort to the grieving, strength to the weary, and hope to those enduring long and difficult recoveries.
Strengthen physicians, nurses, emergency responders, counselors, chaplains, and every caregiver. Give them clear judgment, patient hearts, honest words, and restorative rest.
Thank You for medical knowledge, compassionate hands, faithful families, and communities that carry one another’s burdens. Bless churches, ministries, volunteers, and all who offer meals, transportation, companionship, and practical help. Help families burdened by medical expenses and those who struggle to obtain necessary treatment. Teach us to bear one another’s burdens, to visit the sick, and to extend mercy without prejudice.
We thank You for medical discoveries, dedicated caregivers, and every life strengthened through healing and kindness. When recovery is possible, grant restoration; when suffering remains, grant courage and peace.
As Your Word teaches us to pray for one another, make us a nation more compassionate, humble, and faithful in serving those in need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,” says the LORD. Jeremiah 30:17 NLT
“During the past year we have been blessed by a kind Providence with an abundance of the fruits of the earth, and although the destroying angel for a time visited extensive portions of our territory with the ravages of a dreadful pestilence, yet the Almighty has at length deigned to stay his hand and to restore the inestimable blessing of general health to a people who have acknowledged His power, deprecated His wrath, and implored His merciful protection.” — President Zachary Taylor Annual Message to Congress on December 4, 1849
Hold Fast, Spread the Word and God Save the Republic.
