Almighty God, Creator and Provider of all things, we come before You acknowledging that every good gift and every blessing of provision comes from Your hand. We thank You for the great economic inheritance, technological capabilities, and agricultural abundance of the United States of America. We praise You for the daily dedication of millions of American workers, business owners, entrepreneurs, and farmers whose diligence sustains our nation. We thank You for the gifts entrusted to America: fruitful land, willing hands, talents, opportunities, industrious spirit, and creative minds.

Help our nation’s leaders to pursue sound economic decisions that serve the common good, encourage productive work, and preserve opportunities for future generations.

We ask You to grant wisdom and moral clarity to all who guide our country’s economic policies, financial systems, and business enterprises. Help our leaders foster an economy marked by fairness, opportunity, and stability for every citizen. Look with mercy upon families and individuals experiencing financial distress, job loss, or rising costs of living; supply their daily bread and grant them steady employment.

Forgive us where we have trusted in material wealth rather than in Your grace. Fill the hearts of the American people with a spirit of generous stewardship and honest work. May our national productivity honor You, build up our communities, and reflect Your righteousness throughout the earth. Help us recognize that true prosperity includes trustworthy institutions, compassionate communities, and the freedom to work and serve with dignity. In Your holy and precious name, we pray. Amen.

Even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.” Yet we hear that some of you are living idle lives, refusing to work and meddling in other people’s business. We command such people and urge them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and work to earn their own living. As for the rest of you, dear brothers and sisters, never get tired of doing good. 2 Thessalonians 3:10-13 NLT

“The productiveness of the country, its agriculture, its commerce, its manufactures, are the real resources of its wealth… it is for Congress to consider how far, and in what manner, these great objects may be promoted.” — President George Washington in his Fifth Annual Message to Congress December 3, 1793

Hold Fast, Spread the Word and God Save the Republic.
