Heavenly Father, We come before You with gratitude for the children and young people of America, for the parents who nurture them, and for the teachers and mentors who faithfully guide them. Thank You for the gift of knowledge, the opportunity to learn, and the promise carried by every new generation.
Lord, grant our educators wisdom, patience, courage, and compassion. Strengthen families, protect our schools, and bring healing to students burdened by fear, loneliness, bullying, or despair. Help every child gain the education, encouragement, and practical opportunities needed to develop their gifts and fulfill their responsibilities.
Guide our nation’s leaders to pursue policies that serve students with fairness, integrity, and sound judgment. Help us address educational struggles honestly, support those who need additional help, and ensure that hardship does not extinguish a child’s hope.
May our homes, churches, and communities teach truth, humility, kindness, and respect. Raise up a generation devoted to justice, mercy, faithful service, and common sense. Bless America with renewed learning, strong character, and peace among her people. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 ESV
“But every child in America should be acquainted with his own country. He should read books that furnish him with ideas that will be useful to him in life and practice. As soon as he opens his lips, he should rehearse the history of his own country; he should lisp the praise of liberty, and of those illustrious heroes and statesmen, who have wrought a revolution in her favor.” — Noah Webster On the Education of Youth in America 1788
