Thank You for the gift of friendship and for the people who bring kindness, encouragement, and faithful companionship into our lives. Across America, bless the friends who share burdens, welcome strangers, comfort the grieving, and bless their neighbors.
We thank You for the for the faithful companions who stand beside us through seasons of joy, sorrow, uncertainty, and change. Thank You for neighbors who help, friends who listen, mentors who guide, and brothers and sisters in Christ who strengthen our faith.
Draw near to those who feel forgotten. Help our churches, schools, workplaces, and communities make room for people who need belonging. Give us eyes to notice loneliness and hearts willing to offer genuine care.
Make us friends who love at all times: dependable in adversity, generous in celebration, and courageous in service. As Christ has loved us, teach us to love one another. Renew our nation through tenderhearted mercy, faithful presence, and the daily practice of kindness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 NLT
“But friendship is precious, not only in the shade, but in the sunshine of life; and thanks to a benevolent arrangement of things, the greater part of life is sunshine.” — Thomas Jefferson October 12, 1786
