We thank You for the people of America who choose integrity when compromise would be easier, who speak truth when falsehood is convenient, and who serve their neighbors without seeking recognition. Thank You for families, churches, communities, and institutions that continue to teach responsibility, compassion, justice, and faithful service.
Lord, give our nation wisdom to know what is right and courage to do it. Strengthen our leaders and citizens with honesty, humility, and moral clarity. Help us reject corruption, deception, exploitation, cruelty, and selfish ambition. May we always pursue right over wrong, no matter the difficulty or inconvenience.
Search our hearts and reveal where pride, greed, prejudice, or convenience have displaced what is right. Forgive our willingness to excuse in ourselves what we condemn in others. May integrity guide America, and righteousness shape our public and private lives. Let us be a reflection of Your light and bring honor to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 NLT
“But just because you have a right to do something doesn’t mean it’s right to do it.” — Supreme Court Associate Judge Potter Stewart in an interview with Robert Bendiner ‘American Heritage’ December 1983
