Lord, a year ago, I felt Your prompting and understood what You were calling me to do for You. A year later, I am still moving forward—researching, writing, creating, posting, and praying every day for this wonderful nation You have blessed us with.

For an entire year, everyday, You have provided the words, the verses, and the images. I pray that I have used them justly, accurately, and faithfully to accomplish the work You placed before me.

As I enter the second year of this mission, I know I will need You even more. At times, the well feels stale and dry, but You are the source of every good thing. Renew my strength, refill my spirit, and guide my words and work according to Your will.

Thank You, God, for allowing me to serve You and for the gifts You have given me. Every good thing comes from You.

God, You remind us that freedom is a responsibility to be stewarded and to be passed down. Help us to live as people worthy of that gift—seeking what is right, loving our neighbors, and honoring You in both word and deed. Let our voices be pleasant to Your ears, and all that we do be pleasing to Your eyes. In our eternal gratitude for You and in Your name we pray, amen.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8 LSB
