Heavenly Father, we give You thanks for the constitutional heritage of the United States, for the rule of law, and for all who serve in courts and legal institutions with honesty and sacrifice. Grant wisdom, humility, courage, and impartiality to judges, jurors, attorneys, court officers, and every public servant entrusted with the administration of justice.

Teach the American people to honor what is true, to reject corruption and cruelty, and to seek justice with mercy. Protect those who are vulnerable, comfort victims of crime and loss, defend the wrongly accused, and strengthen families and communities burdened by conflict. Guard our courts from intimidation, dishonesty, favoritism, and the misuse of power.

Help our leaders and citizens remember that justice and judgment are established by Your righteous character. Give us hearts that “do justly,” love mercy, and walk humbly before You. May truth prevail, peace grow, constitutional liberty be preserved, and equal justice under law become ever more real in our land. In Jesus’ name, amen.

“Thus has the LORD of hosts said, ‘Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion each to his brother.” Zechariah 7:9 NASB95
