Lord, We lift up the people and islands of American Samoa to You. Thank You for this beautiful place in the Pacific—for its green mountains, blue waters, coral reefs, villages, families, and the rich heritage. Thank You for the faith that has been carried through generations, for churches that gather to worship You, and for the enduring values of family, service, respect, and community.
Lord, bless every home in American Samoa. Strengthen marriages, protect children, encourage grandparents, and raise up young men and women who know You, love what is good, and walk with courage and integrity. Heal wounds that are hidden within families. Bring freedom where there is abuse, addiction, bitterness, fear, or despair. Give comfort, safety, and wise help to those who are hurting.
Protect American Samoa from cyclones, floods, landslides, earthquakes, tsunamis, and every danger that comes with life on the islands. Give communities readiness in times of disaster, courage in hardship, and unity in recovery. Provide for families facing financial uncertainty, limited opportunities, illness, or isolation. Open doors for meaningful work, sound education, dependable health care, and hope for the future.
Above all, let the churches of American Samoa shine with the love of Christ. Renew faith where it has become only tradition. Give pastors and believers a fresh hunger for Your Word, a spirit of prayer, and bold compassion for their neighbors. May the people of every village know the peace of Jesus Christ, who calms the storm and makes all things new. Amen
