Lord Father, we lift Puerto Rico before You. We thank You for its people, its beautiful lands and waters, its rich cultural heritage, its resilient communities, and the faith that has sustained many through hardship.
Bring spiritual awakening throughout Puerto Rico. Strengthen pastors, churches, missionaries, families, teachers, medical workers, first responders, and all who serve others in Christ’s name. Heal those affected by grief, trauma, poverty, addiction, illness, violence, and displacement. Let the weary find rest, the discouraged find hope, and the lonely find faithful community.
Grant wisdom, honesty, courage, and compassion to every civic leader. Establish justice for the poor, safety for children, opportunity for workers, and peace in neighborhoods. Provide dependable infrastructure, wise disaster preparedness, fruitful employment, and renewed strength for families who long to remain together on the island.
Protect Puerto Rico from storms and every disaster. Preserve its forests, coasts, farms, waters, and communities. May mercy and truth meet together there; may righteousness and peace flourish; and may Puerto Rico increasingly place its trust in You. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
