The E36 Penang Bridge, a 13.5-kilometer (8.4-mile) dual carriageway toll bridge and controlled-access highway, spans the Penang Strait in the Malaysian state of Penang. It connects Perai on the mainland with Gelugor on the island, facilitating transportation between the two regions.
