Heavenly Father, we lift up Utah to You. Thank You for its mountains and deserts, its rivers and red-rock canyons, its communities, families, churches, and heritage of perseverance. Thank You for every person who serves a neighbor, teaches a child, protects a community, grows food, ministers to those seeking, or works faithfully.

Lord, bring rain and restoring snow to Utah’s watersheds. Give wisdom to households, farmers, ranchers, and leaders as they steward every drop of water. Protect the state from drought, wildfire, flood, and every danger that threatens homes, livelihoods, land, and life.

Raise up leaders who do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly before You. Heal division, loneliness, addiction, broken families, and despair. Make Utah’s churches places of biblical truth, compassion, repentance, hospitality, and courageous service. Teach all its people to choose compassion, kindness, and goodwill.

May the state’s industry be joined with righteousness; may its prosperity be shared with the vulnerable; and may its natural beauty lead many hearts to worship You, its Creator. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:9-10 ESV

“My prayer is that you will choose humanity, connection, and love, and I believe with all my heart that you will.” — Governor Spencer Cox September 15, 2025 In response to the murder of Charlie Kirk
