Heavenly Father, We lift up the state of South Dakota into Your gracious hands—a land defined by vast horizons, rich history, and enduring strength.
We thank You for the beauty of Your creation displayed across this land, from the rolling Black Hills and badlands to the wide prairies and the banks of the Missouri River. Bless the agricultural communities, farmers, and ranchers who work diligently to cultivate the earth and feed families across our nation. Grant them favorable weather, abundant harvests, and strength through every season. Let Your life giving rain fall down on the parched lands.
We pray for all who call South Dakota home. May You foster unity, neighborly care, and deep compassion within every town, city, and tribal nation. Bring peace and prosper the work of every family, small business, and school. Guide the state’s leaders with wisdom, humility, and integrity, that they may serve with justice and serve the good of all people.
Thank You Lord for all the wonderful churches, their pastors and staff. See their growth and may they hear, “Well Done.”
Protect this land, and inspire a spirit of resilience, faith, and gratitude in every heart. In Your name, we pray, Amen.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! Psalm 33:12 ESV
“Teach me to walk the soft earth, a relative to all that live. Sweeten my heart and fill me with light, and give me the strength to understand and the eyes to see. Help me, for without you I am nothing. Hetchetu aloh! [Amen]” — Nicholas Black Elk ‘Speaks’ (1932)
Hold Fast, Spread the Word and God Save the Republic.
