Lord of living liberty, we come before You for New Hampshire — a land of high peaks, quiet lakes, and a people formed by conscience and independence. Thank You for the beauty of these high places, for neighbors who still look after one another, and for the long heritage of worship freely offered according to the heart. Bless the land and all who call it home, the farms and small towns, the cities and the lonely roads that wind through them. Let the beauty of this place continue to shape the hearts of those who live here.

Grant wisdom to those who lead, integrity to those who serve, and courage to every citizen who seeks to preserve liberty with responsibility. Protect the young and the old, the strong and the weary, and draw neighbors together in mutual care. In seasons of plenty and in seasons of trial, keep New Hampshire rooted in truth, open to mercy, and steadfast in the quiet dignity that has long marked her people. May her mountains stand as a reminder of Your permanence, her rivers of Your provision, and her people of the freedom You have entrusted to them.

Where faith has grown thin, rain down righteousness and awaken a living hunger for You. Let liberty be joined to virtue, and piety give its old security to public life. Comfort the brokenhearted. Keep this state under Your holy protection, and let its people walk in quietness, honesty, and hope. We give You thanks for New Hampshire, Amen.

So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law. Galatians 5:1 NLT

“Vain is the acknowledgement of a Supreme Ruler of the Universe, unless such acknowledgements influence our practice… And above all, that he would rain down righteousness upon the earth, revive religion, and spread abroad the knowledge of the true GOD, the Saviour of man, throughout the world.” — Governor John Langdon Proclamation for a Day of Public Fasting and Prayer February 21, 1786

Hold Fast, Spread the Word and God Save the Republic.
