Lord God, we thank You for Georgia—its wondrous mountains and coasts, its small towns and cities, and the rich culture, hospitality, and history that shape this state. We praise You for friendly communities, festivals, music, food, and the “Southern vibe” that bring people together, and for churches, campus ministries, and retreat centers that offer worship, prayer, and spiritual renewal.
We ask You to bring vibrant faith to Your church in Georgia, replacing empty religiosity with deep love for Jesus, obedience to Your word, and a life of prayer. Unite congregations across race, denomination, and geography to advance Your kingdom together. Stir fresh fire in youth and college ministries so that young people find their purpose and identity in Christ.
Lord, grant wisdom and integrity to Georgia’s elected officials and community leaders as they face complex challenges in cities and counties. Heal families and neighborhoods affected by crime, economic hardship, and tension, and raise up intercessors and prayer teams who will stand in the gap for their communities. Let Georgia’s churches shine with unity, mercy, and truth, and let the light of Christ be seen from its backroads to its busiest streets. Amen.
