Lord God, we thank You for Connecticut and for the many places of healing, prayer, and care that bless this state. We praise You for hospitals, hospice ministries, churches, and chaplains who provide spiritual support, comfort, and hope to patients, families, and caregivers. Thank You for congregations and prayer ministries that faithfully lift up the needs of others and create spaces of belonging, compassion, and faith.
We ask You for deeper spiritual awakening across Connecticut. Stir a fresh hunger for Scripture, prayer, and discipleship in Your people. Bring healing to those walking through anxiety, depression, grief, and loneliness, and grant purpose and peace to those searching for meaning in life. Strengthen pastors, chaplains, and counselors with wisdom, endurance, and tenderness as they serve on the front lines of care.
We pray for unity and peace in communities that feel divided or burdened, and for wisdom for leaders and families facing hard decisions. Let Your mercy rest on this state, and let the light of Christ shine in homes, churches, hospitals, and neighborhoods across Connecticut. May gratitude, hope, and faith grow strong in every season. Amen
He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. Psalm 107:7 NIV
“And still her gray rocks tower above the sea, That murmurs at their feet, a conquered wave; ’T is a rough land of earth and stone and tree, Where breathes no castled lord or cabined slave; Where thoughts and tongues and hands are bold and free.” — Fitz-Greene Halleck “Connecticut” (1852)
