Heavenly Father, We come before You with grateful hearts, asking that You restore within us a spirit of integrity, strong ethics, and a renewed commitment to honest and diligent work. In a world often distracted by shortcuts and self-interest, help us to stand firm in righteousness and to honor You in all that we do.

Lord, bless the work of our hands. Whether our tasks are seen or unseen, remind us that our labor is not merely for earthly gain, but an offering unto You. Teach us to work faithfully, as servants of Christ, reflecting Your character to our employers, our coworkers, and all we encounter throughout the day.

Guard our hearts and minds, Father, from apathy, pride, and greed. Keep us from growing weary in doing good, and protect us from allowing worldly pressures to harden our spirit. Fill us instead with purpose, humility, and a desire to serve with excellence.

Help us to remember that our time at work is a gift from You and a responsibility entrusted to us. May we steward it wisely, using every moment to bring honor to Your name.

We thank You, Lord, for the jobs You have provided and for the provision they bring. We do not take these blessings for granted.

And when our workday is finished, teach us to lay it down. Lead us into true rest. Help us to honor the Sabbath, to spend time in Your Word, and to be fully present with our families and friends. Remind us to care for the bodies, minds, and souls You have given us, finding renewal in Your presence.

In all things, both in our labor and in our rest, may our lives glorify You.

You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How joyful and prosperous you will be! Psalm 128:2 NLT

“There are two things that I want you to make up your minds to: first, that you are going to have a good time as long as you live – I have no use for the sour-faced man – and next, that you are going to do something worthwhile, that you are going to work hard and do the things you set out to do.” ― Theodore Roosevelt in a talk to school children in Oyster Bay 1898

Operation World Pray for Japan : Spiritual powers and principalities in Japan hinder the gospel. The powers associated with idolatry in temples and ancestor worship in homes remain strong. Many Japanese claim no religion, but actually follow some rituals of Buddhism and Shintoism. Even the idea of a Creator God is foreign to the Japanese worldview. Many new religions get started in Japan each year, often based on Buddhism, but also on the occult, the worship of extra-terrestrial aliens, and other strange ideas. Ask God to remove the spirit of delusion!
