Heavenly Father, Move our hearts and minds toward the understanding that true and lasting happiness is found in You alone. Strip away the distractions and false promises of this world that pull us in so many directions, and gently lead us back to the simple, profound truth that we were made for relationship with You.
Teach us to seek You not out of obligation, but out of a deep longing for the peace, joy, and purpose that only Your presence can provide. Remind us that every earthly pursuit fades, but what is rooted in You endures forever.
We thank You for the covenant You have made with us—steadfast, unchanging, and unbreakable. Even when we falter, You remain faithful. Even when we wander, You call us back with mercy and love.
In Your joy, You created us not for a fleeting moment, but for eternity. Help us to live with that eternal perspective, setting our hearts on what is everlasting rather than what is temporary. Shape our desires so that we long for the unending joy found in Your presence.
Guide us, Lord, to pursue that eternal happiness with sincerity and devotion. Let our lives reflect a hunger for You above all else, and may that pursuit transform us more and more into who You have called us to be.
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 ESV
“That God rules in the affairs of men is as certain as any truth of physical science… nothing is by chance, though men in their ignorance of causes may think so. The fortunes of a nation are not under the control of blind destiny but follow the steps by which a favoring Providence, calling our institutions into being, has conducted the country to its present happiness and glory.” — George Bancroft Memorial Address: Life and Character of Abraham Lincoln February 12, 1866

Operation World Pray for Iran : Massive numbers of Iranians have come to Jesus in recent years! From only 500 Muslim-background believers in 1979, some estimates suggest the number is even greater than 1 million just in Iran alone. Large numbers of Persian people have also encountered the risen Christ outside of Iran. While hundreds of thousands of Iranians have indicated that they are Christian, only a fraction actively participate in church life. Even so, the Church in Persia has not grown this fast since the 7th century. In Iran, a person can receive a death sentence for apostasy (abandoning religious faith). Despite this, 50,000 mosques have closed in recent years as Iranians are disillusioned with both the regime and with Islam. This growth is a remarkable move of the Holy Spirit, with many signs and wonders, dreams and visions.
