Great Creator, You formed this nation nearly 250 years ago and set its foundation in Your truth and providence. Like the children of Israel, we as a people have ebbed and flowed in Your presence—drawing near to You for a time, then drifting away into forgetfulness and pride.

For many generations now, the shores of Your love and blessing have seemed to recede into the distant horizon, not because You abandoned us, but because our sins and self-reliance have carried us farther and farther from Your presence. We confess that as a nation we have often chosen darkness over light, and our hearts, minds, and institutions have not honored You as they should.

Have mercy on us, O Lord. In Your compassion, light again the fire on the hill—a beacon of grace and truth—that we may see it shining through our darkness. Let that light pierce our confusion, our division, and our despair, and awaken in us a longing to return to You. Stir hearts across this land to repent, to seek Your face, and to walk in righteousness, humility, and love.

Guide us back to You, Great Shepherd of souls. Lead our people, our leaders, and our communities to rebuild upon the foundation of Your word and character. Restore in us a reverence for Your name, a hunger for justice grounded in Your righteousness, and a deep gratitude for the blessings You have given this country.

May this nation once again reflect Your light like a city set on a hill, not boasting in itself, but bearing witness to Your mercy, Your holiness, and Your unfailing love. In Your name we ask all this. Amen.

Therefore say to them, Thus declares the Lord of hosts: Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 1:3 NLT

“Revival is a renewed conviction of sin and repentance, followed by an intense desire to live in obedience to God. It is giving up one’s will to God in deep humility.” — Charles Grandison Finney

Operation World Pray for India : Politics affects the Church and mission in Tamil Nadu state. Hindu extremists threaten the Church with anti-conversion laws. Pray that the current religious freedom continues. The Church grows despite the social pressures, especially among Dalit and tribal peoples. Muslims and higher caste Hindus receive very little outreach. Tamils founded many of the Christian organizations throughout India. Pray that the Church of Tamil Nadu presses forward with its mission vision and outreach.
