Heavenly Father, True and lasting happiness is found not in the fleeting things of this world, but in the quiet and faithful pursuit of a relationship with You. Draw my heart nearer to Yours, that I may seek You not only in moments of need, but in every breath and every step. Thank You for Your steadfast love is unchanging, unearned, and ever-present. Thank You for the joy You take in knowing us, in walking with us, and in calling us Your own. It is a humbling wonder that the Creator of all, delights in His creation, and invites us into communion with Him. Teach me to rest in that joy. Let my life reflect the peace that comes from abiding in You, and may my pursuits be shaped by a desire to know You more deeply. In every trial, remind me where true happiness resides, not in circumstance, but in Your presence. May my heart remain anchored in Your love, and may my days be marked by gratitude for the relationship You so freely offer.

Operation World Pray for Haiti : Tyranny, cruelty, and spiritual bondage fill Haiti’s history. The Spanish genocide against the indigenous Arawaks, Spanish and then French slavery, and Haiti’s own brutal leaders promoted a spirit of violence for centuries. Voodoo (a religion of spirits) creates fear throughout society. Many Catholics practise some voodoo. Pray that the power of the Holy Spirit might overcome the forces of evil. Pray for the Holy Spirit to cleanse the Church. Ask God to bind the powerful spirits underlying voodooism in Jesus’ name, so the nation can be wholly dedicated to the Lord.
