Lord, we know that liberty itself is hanging in the balance in America. We also know that we battle not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual powers of darkness. We petition You to unleash the power of Heaven to help us, protect us and come to our aid. Infuse in our leaders a profound understanding and respect for their vow and their duty to protect liberty in this country. May they never take our liberty for granted. May we never take our liberty for granted.

Operation World Pray for Haiti : The litany of tragedies to strike Haiti seems unending. The 2010 earthquake took up to 300,000 lives and the cholera outbreak that followed claimed thousands more. Mass protests and high fuel prices plagued the years 2018-2021. The President was assassinated in his own home in July 2021. This was followed by another huge earthquake a month later. It was the worst natural disaster in the world in 2021, but merely one more tragic episode for this broken nation. Now, ruthless armed gangs wreak havoc and wield more power than the empty husks of governance or ineffective policing. Haiti’s plight began with centuries of unjust treatment at the hands of Western powers, and continued after independence. The layers of brokenness seem impossible to fix as corruption, exploitation, terrible poverty, acute hunger, and sexual violence are widespread. Pray for God to break through and bring lasting change in this land desperate for salvation.
