Lord God, we come before You grieving a nation that has turned from protecting its most vulnerable. We ask for Your mercy on a people who have allowed the taking of innocent life. Search our hearts and convict us, O Lord. Forgive us for our silence, our compromise, and our failure to uphold the dignity of every human life. Stir in us true repentance and transform us by Your truth. Grant courage, compassion, and wisdom to Your people. Lead us back to justice, that we may cherish and protect every child. In Your mercy, restore us and guide us in righteousness.

Operation World Pray for Guyana : Guyana faces various threats. Venezuela and Suriname both claim large parts of Guyana’s land. The two main political parties divide along racial lines (Indo-Guyanese versus Afro-Guyanese). The land is rich in biodiversity and natural resources, but is at risk of exploitation by foreign companies and interests. Due to a lack of economic opportunities, many people emigrated, including many of the most talented. Pray for hope to come to Guyana, and for the gospel to transform society.
