Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that our rights come from You alone, rooted in Your eternal law and unchanging Word. You are the source of truth, justice, and liberty, and what You have established no man has authority to overturn. Yet we see in our time those who seek to alter, diminish, and take away these gifts. Lord, grant us wisdom, courage, and steadfast hearts. Help us to stand firmly in what is right, to defend what is just, and to remain faithful to Your truth. Guide our leaders, strengthen Your people, and keep us vigilant in preserving the freedoms You have entrusted to us. May we act with conviction, humility, and trust in Your sovereign hand.
Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless. Isaiah 10:1-2 NIV
“When we speak of peace, we should not mean just the absence of war. True peace rests on the pillars of individual freedom, human rights, national self-determination, and respect for the rule of law.” – Ronald Reagan

Operation World Pray for Guinea-Bissau : Church leadership is solid, mature and indigenous, with increasingly well-organized training programmes for general discipleship and for pastoral training. The Bible Institute of the Evangelical Church is key to this process, with evening Bible classes and sponsorship of promising pastors to study in Brazil. But poorer and more remote rural congregations are much less appealing to workers and are therefore neglected. Those who do minister rurally must often care for several congregations at once. Pray for the vision of the evangelical Church to be fulfilled, and for trained, passionate national workers to go to the remote and unreached parts of Guinea-Bissau and to the entire region.
