Father, when my heart grows weary and I see the blessings of others, guard me from losing faith. Quiet the whispers of doubt that try to take root within me, and remind me that Your timing is perfect, even when I do not understand it. Teach me to rejoice with those who rejoice, and to trust that You have not forgotten me. When my own prayers seem unanswered, fill me with peace instead of despair, and with hope instead of fear. Lord, help me remember that I am Your child—loved deeply, known fully, and held securely in Your care. Let that truth steady my heart and lift my spirit. Give me a thankful soul in every season. In joy and in waiting, in abundance and in longing, may I praise You, knowing that Your love never ends and Your goodness never fails.

Operation World Pray for El Salvador : Praise God that peace has held since the end of the civil war in 1992. Since then, corruption in politics has been a big problem in El Salvador, but multiple free elections have occurred, with different parties prevailing at different times. El Salvador’s main struggles are now against poverty and gang violence. Money sent home from Salvadorans working abroad is the largest part of the economy. Nearly 23% of the country lives below the poverty line. Violent criminal gangs known as “maras” keep the nation among the global leaders for murder rates and juvenile delinquency. Overcoming these two giants will take more than just good social and economic policy – El Salvador needs a spiritual awakening that transforms the nation!
