Lord, we appeal to You, mindful that You created all people equal. Grant us wisdom and discernment as we shape our approach to those who seek to become part of our nation. Guide our leaders to establish just and honorable policies that protect our country while reflecting compassion and fairness. May we uphold both the safety of our people and the dignity of those who come to our borders.

“The same law applies both to the native-born and to the foreigner residing among you.” Exodus 12:49 (NIV)

“Restricted immigration is not an offensive but purely a defensive action. It is not adopted in criticism of others in the slightest degree, but solely for the purpose of protecting ourselves. We cast no aspersions on any race or creed, but we must remember that every object of our institutions of society and government will fail unless America be kept American.” – Calvin Coolidge

Hold Fast, Spread the Word and God Save the Republic.

Operation World Pray for Republic of Congo (ROC) : Church life in the Republic of Congo is a complex mix of physical need and spiritual diversity. Catholics, African Initiated Churches, mainline Protestants, Western cults, conservative evangelicals and Pentecostal/charismatics all vie for the faith of the people. Thankfully, relations are improving among denominations with strong evangelical values. But poverty and instability not only interrupt and undermine long-term ministry, but they also cause many Christian leaders to leave for other lands. Pray for a greater commitment to biblical unity and for long-term stability in which to build stronger leadership and ministry.
