Lord of Truth and Justice, We ask You to restore within our courts and law schools a reverence for Your divine law, the true foundation of righteousness and freedom. Let those who interpret and teach the law remember that justice flows from Your throne, and mercy is the companion of true wisdom. Guide judges, lawyers, and students to discern right from wrong with humility and courage. May our nation’s laws be shaped not by pride or ambition, but by the light of Your eternal truth. Teach us again that law without virtue cannot endure, and that liberty stands secure only upon the rock of Your commandments.

Operation World Pray for People’s Republic of China : Some call this the “Chinese Century” because of China’s rising role on the world stage. It had more people than any other country (until 2023 when it was surpassed by India), and has massive influence on world economics and politics. China invests billions of dollars in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to develop trade, but also to gain influence. But it also remains politically oppressive and corrupt. It has a poor human rights record, and imposes harsh laws and punishments. The cult of personality surrounding President Xi, the increasingly bellicose tone of China’s foreign policy, and the accelerating oppression of minorities and dissidents should compel us to prayer! Pray for God to do a mighty work in and through the Chinese government.
