Almighty Father, we thank You for those who have gone before us for the men and women who pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to establish this nation upon principles drawn from Your Word.
Thank You for the wisdom You gave them, for their reverence toward Your gift of free will, and for all who have since stood in defense of freedom and the welfare of others.
We thank You for the blessing of religious liberty for the privilege to gather, to worship, and to lift our hearts to You in prayer. As we speak to You, Father, teach us to rest in Your timing, to trust Your will, and to walk in Your ways.
Above all, we thank You for Your steadfast love, for daily mercies, for provision, and for the hope that sustains us.
May our hearts never forget to give You thanks, and may we live in a way that honors Your name and the precious freedoms You have given.

Operation World Pray for Central African Republic : The CAR was one of the world’s most evangelized nations, but the upheavals here and in nearby Chad and Sudan mean the progress in some regions has reversed. Pray for all CAR denominations to send students for missionary training. Pray that those with training would resist the draw to serve as a city pastor and instead go to the unreached. Pray especially for the northern region, for the Runga (90% Muslim), the Sara Kaba (50% Animist), and the Gula/Kara (65% Muslim). Muslims grew rapidly in influence, especially in the cities. Few Christians feel equipped to reach out to them.
