Lord, show us how to build homes that serve as sanctuaries of security, stability, and strength. For our families, we pray that You draw each one closer to Your Spirit, heart, mind, and purposes and plans for our lives. We know that Your plan for our future is good and full of hope. Therefore, we pray for each one to experience the security, stability, strength, comfort, and joy of living in a genuine relationship with You, both in this life and in the next.
Assemble the people, men, women, and little ones, and the sojourner within your towns, that they may hear and learn to fear the Lord your God, and be careful to do all the words of this law, and that their children who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear the Lord your God. Operation World Pray for Bulgaria : Bulgaria suffered under Communist rule from 1947 to 1989, and troubles remain. Corruption, crime networks, and poverty affect many lives. Abortion, while less than in the past, is still widespread, and divorce is common. The populace continues to age even as its overall numbers have been steadily declining since 1986. Many young people leave Bulgaria (one of the poorest EU countries) to find work and opportunity in other nations. Pray for the Church to demonstrate God’s love in this country where racial tensions are strong and hope is rare.
