We yearn for religious leaders who genuinely comprehend Your presence, Lord. We humbly request that You bestow upon these shepherds of this land Your Spirit, Your inspiration, Your protection, and the unwavering courage to proclaim Your truth with the steadfast anointing of the grace of Christ.

Hold Fast, Spread the Word and God Save the Republic.
Operation World Pray for Barbados : Since settlement in 1627, Barbados has been Christian. But despite overwhelming religious profession and a large number of evangelicals, real commitment to the lordship of Jesus is the exception rather than the rule. Materialism, spreading theological liberalism, decreasing church attendance, increased violence and crime are all symptoms of spiritual decline. Pray for the Spirit’s renewal and for the Church in Barbados to reawaken.

Yahweh,
A terrible fear stalks your people. Men who say they believe in your Name, and yet hide in the bushes when it counts.
I have been one of those men far too often.
O God, in these days of war, I pray that you pour courage into me like liquid fire.
I pray that you rise up men for this generation who will stare at the hateful teeth of battle and be found strong like lions.
You, Lord my God, are the one who goes before me.
You will not fail me or forsake me.
Amen.
