We ask for true and living examples of virtue in this age of relative truth and values. We appeal to You, Lord, to impress the value of virtue upon parents, educators, pastors, priests, rabbis, coaches, writers, entertainers, and movie makers in a culture that has rejected You and Your desires for our fulfillment through lives of goodness, virtue and faith.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8

The only foundation of a free Constitution is pure virtue, and if this cannot be inspired into our people in a greater measure than they have it now, they may change their rulers and the forms of government, but they will not obtain a lasting liberty.” ~ President John Adams
Operation World Pray for Vanuatu : Vanuatu’s motto is “In God We Stand”. Pray that leaders of this complex little nation may be examples in doing so. Committed Christians played a major role in attaining independence, and they continue to help lead the country – not least is the President himself. Two of the main islands of Vanuatu are named Espiritu Santo and Pentecost – how appropriate for such a linguistically diverse nation! May the same Holy Spirit visit this nation powerfully.
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17 (ESV)
