We humbly ask You, Lord, to bestow profound healing upon those who have chosen to end the life of a developing child. Only You possess the knowledge of the profound scars they bear, and only You can offer the healing they desperately seek. We are grateful that You are a God of forgiveness, healing, and redemption.
I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying His voice and holding fast to Him, for He is your life. Deuteronomy 30:18-20
God’s Providence and support through the perilous perplexing labyrinths of human life will then forever excite our astonishment and love. May a happiness be granted to those I most tenderly love, which shall continue and increase through an endless existence. Your cares and burdens must be many and great, but put your trust in that God Who has hitherto supported you and me; He will not fail to take care of those who put their trust in Him….It is most evident that this land is under the protection of the Almighty, and that we shall be saved not by our wisdom nor by our might, but by the Lord of Host Who is wonderful in counsel and Almighty in all His operations. ~ Oliver Wolcott April 10, 1776, Letters of Delegates to Congress
Operation World Pray for Uruguay : Uruguay has the most secular society in South America. While much positive progress came in areas like political transparency, equality, and economic development, modern developments like the legalization of abortion, same-sex marriage, and cannabis use came as well. Uruguay’s rates of depression, suicide, and abortion are some of the highest on the continent. Most Uruguayans follow a “do-it-yourself” spirituality influenced by New Age ideas. The nation is 55% Catholic (the lowest in Spanish-speaking Latin America), and only 2% attend mass. Afro-Brazilian Spiritism attracts many people. Pray for the Holy Spirit to expose religious deceptions and defeat the demonic powers behind them.
