Primeval has gone through so much evolution. Cast changes every season. Then it was canceled then it wasn’t and season were back to back. Now it is moving geographic locations, to Canada. The new 13 episode series will be called Primeval: New World. Creators claim it will be older, darker and scarier than its predecessor, but with a younger, sexier cast. It is suppose to air sometime the last part of this year. Co- Creator Tim Haines says, “Essentially, anomalies start appearing on the northern latitudes, and they’ve got to cope with it. And there is a little bit of crossover in the first episode, and then we’ll see how it goes after that. Mostly they’ll be getting on with it themselves.”
I’ve like the show thus far and thought it has such great potential, but seems to lack consistent backing. Hopefully this will bring it more mainstream.
