Apple release the latest revision to their iPad line. Not an iPad 3, not an iPad 2S, not an iPad HD but just the new iPad. The resolution on the Retina Display is outstanding at 2048-x-1536. This is powered by a quad core A5X chip. The body is slightly thicker to accommodate a bigger battery to keep it at a 10 hour runtime with the newly added power. 5MP for the camera, not quite up to the iPhone 4S, but it still does 1080p. They upgraded to 4G for cellular connectivity. iWork and iLife apps were updated for the Retina Display, and iPhoto was added to complete out iLife. All in all it is a nice upgrade, but my iPad 2 will be sufficient for now.
