Aperture unexpectedly quits when opening. The common blame for this is Boot Camp. So it is recommended to add the Boot Camp Partition to Spotlight Exclusions (System Preferences > Spotlight > Security)
If that fails to work then:
1. Navigate to: /Library/Frameworks/PluginManager.framework/Versions/B/PluginManager
2. Delete the PluginManager
3. Get a clean copy of the PluginManager and replace. Use this one here: PluginManager.zip
Now it should open.
