Ah the return of an action hero. Not too much character development, not a lot of dialog, but oh so much violence... It lives. It just doesn't get better than that.

Stallone himself directed this fourth outing to the franchise that was launched by the excellent book by David Morrell. He did bring more depth to the movie as a whole as opposed to the last to tries at topping First Blood . I went into this not expecting much but was surprised to get more of a movie than I hoped for. Of course to nit pick, they seemed to forget that Burma was now called Myanmar, but I guess that could happen to someone that has neglected the world in the backyard of Thailand.

I did miss actually seeing the kknife displayed more prominantly as were the Gil Hibben creations in the first three.

If you want to be entertained for an hour and a half (add another half for previews) and just want to see a good movie that won't leave you wondering of you will get back that time in your life; it's a good view.
